Michelle Owen

Michelle started in practice in Wrexham back in 1997 as a trainee nurse and qualified in 2002. Michelle joined the team here at Sanders Vets in 2003 as the practices only qualified Veterinary Nurse before training to become an assessor and then successfully trained 3 student nurses.

Michelle’s main passion are all things dog related and has keen interest in dog behaviour. She has embarked on furthering her training and knowledge by completing her APDT dog training instructor courses. Michelle believes a well-behaved dog often means less behavioural issues in the future.

Michelle spends the majority of her time running socialisation and behavioural consultations and has recently started running the Sanders Vets puppy training classes from the practice. Michelle also runs her own puppy training classes and 1 to 1 training sessions in her own time outside of work.

Since starting her family Michelle now works 2 days a week and has 3 dogs and 2 cats at home and enjoys travelling the country in their camper van.
